BOO!! STJ Trip #3 postponed

Post by jigzmom »

WHOO HOO!! Looks like we're headed back in January!! We're getting a late start on the planning due to... well, LIFE getting in the way, but we've got some villas in our sights. Just one traveller to convince that STJ is this winter's trip and we'll be good to go!!

*does happy dance* :D

-----------------

EDITED: Unfortuantely we could not work out our schedules to visit STJ in January. We are headed for St. Kitts instead, an island we've not yet been to. But STJ is still on our return-to list!!

Edited the first post. We just couldn't work out our travel schedules to get to STJ in January. Instead we are headed for St. Kitts. But we'll be back to STJ soon!!! :)

Hi Jigzmom - we went to St Kitts 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. While the snorkeling is not as good as STJ, there is beautiful scenery, nice beaches on the SE peninsula, good restaurants and interesting sights to see. Some things we enjoyed:
- beaches and a little snorkeling at the beaches on the SE peninsula
- Caribelle Batik - its a batik place where you can see the batik process and buy some beautiful items. The grounds are an old manor and are beautiful
- Brimstone Hill Fortress - very well preserved huge fort with a spectacular view
- Shop at Island Hopper in town - fun islandy stuff
- lunch at Rawlins Plantation
Have a great trip!
