To Ruth, Pia, Bert, Ronnie and all the locals who help us!

Post by California Girl »

I hope I didn't leave anyone out, if so, I apologize!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all of you "USVI locals" who take time to post on this forum and help us "touristas" with your helpful and extremely useful information. Your input is so valuable I can't even put it into words! What would we do without such "insider" information to help us plan our trips?

I just wanted you to know that you are very special and appreciated and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say
WE LOVE YOU! :D

It's Ronnie, not Ron. He gets all up in huff and his hair almost looks like a fiery red if you call him Ron.

It is my pleasure to help. I have been on boards for over 10 years now! I never seem to tire answering the same questions over and over. Keep asking!

Yeah, lately I am called Ronnie. Who knows, some day I'll be RL!

Thanks so much you guy's, it's great that we can help.

Sorry I haven't posted too much recently - still trying to get used to the new format - I just miss not being able to see who has answered what (if you know what I mean) and I know its bad, but sometimes I just can't be bothered/don't have enough time to read through everything to see if anyone has a new question for me, or a new question in general, in the middle of an old/current thread....but I'm trying (I know my husband say's sometimes I'm very trying LOL) and I will get used to it.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend

I am really surprised that this only got 7 replies! So I'm giving it a time traveling bump!! When I found this old thread it made me think about how much you STJ residents really help us newbie tourists. It's always crazy to go to a new place, but having you guys as well as the seasoned tourists has made planning our trip so wonderful. Discovering a new place with a little insider info MAKES the vacation. I know we won't be able to afford another trip to STJ for a looooooong time, so if it wasn't for you guys I surely would have missed a bunch of events, "insider spots", and "must-see destinations".

So again, thank you for sharing your collective wisdom, experiences, and humor!

Thanks for giving this one a bump to the top of the list. The people noted are also on the top of our list.

I am experiencing this right now and I agree 1000%. We couldn't have done this without you.

ditto, ditto - looking forward to meeting (re-meeting) some of you in November.

Thanks for your great advice.

(and thanks for the bump; I guess August is forum low season!)

pj and I also agree. We could not feel at home on STJ without all of the info each of you and others provide for us. This Board would not be the same without all of the locals. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

PS-We can't wait to get there on July 26. We'll be the ones wearing the "Haven't I seen You......?" tg-shirts.
