Trip report - July 6-13 - Villa Amora (Part 1)

Post by lovethebeach »

My husband & I along with three other couples spent 7 days at Villa Amora. Two of the couples were newbies and one of the couples had been there two years ago with us. We normally stay at Maho, so Villa Amora was very nice. We visited a beach or two each day. Among them were Maho , Jumbie, Cinnamon, Waterlemon, Saloman, Hawksnest, and Trunk. Everyone enjoyed the snorkeling the most at Waterlemon. We saw a turtle, an eagle ray, a bunch of starfish, lots of fish, and some colorful coral at Waterlemon. I walked the Ram's Head Trail for the first time and it was well worth the walk. The restaurants that we ate at were: Lime Inn, Skinny Legs, Miss Lucy's, Island Blues, Mojo Cafe, and drinks at Woody's. Our two favorites this time were Miss Lucy's and Island Blues. We also went over to Molly Malones in Red Hook one night and listened to Eric Stone. We had went to see him here in Missouri a couple of years ago. We enjoyed the show very much although the food at Molly's was just so-so.
