Post by olivias dad »

Is Cruz Bay Prime kid friendly? We have a 2 year old and would like to go one night.

I would say that your child would not be unwelcome, it is the Westin after all, and they cater to families. There were no children in the dining room when we were there recently, and I did not notice a children's menu (but that doesn't mean there isn't one). The restaurant is very noisy so I truly think it would be OK.

I should also have added that even if they don't have a kids menu there are certainly foods that would appeal to a young child on the adult menu--for example we tried a very creamy and mild macaroni and cheese, and some plain grilled asparagus, and you could always ask for the steak sauces on the side.

Hope that helps.

Edited to say that the only restaurant on island that I know of with a ban on very young children is Zozos--I believe they request that your child be five or six to dine there.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
