Post by BeAsUR »

Today is Friday and we went to Jost via the ferry...rained on us there and back. BUT Jost was dry, but gray. WHO CARED?? Not I. Mic fixed us up with Nilla Painkllers and that 1st sip was HEAVENLY! Lunch at Foxy's with some Firewater Rum- now THAT'S A DRINK! It was raining during lunch . WHO CARED?? Not us! Now we sit on our Bongo's veranda and watch the monsoon, typhoon and so what?? Because we are dry and in ST John!! And the temp is cool. Tomorrow Coral Bay and Skinny's one last time and a stop at Sloop Jones'.
Here's a toast to you on the coast....

IT'S AWESOME WITH THIS LIGHTNING!!! However, got work to do and beach plans cancelled daily. Rainiest (sp?) week on STJ ever. Love the frogs croaking.

We spent the day at Francis and at one point were the only ones there in the rain - very cool! The evening has been rainy at Gallow's, but we still enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It's still better than being at home!

I actually saved a few pics from the Spice Cam around 5:45 STJ time today as the rain was coming in (again)- beautiful! Somethin' sexy 'bout the rain- especially on STJ  Love the attitude! I too would love a rainy day there- at least you're THERE! Have an awesome time in CB and East End tomorrow! 1 month.....

braved the monsoon and grabbed beach towels to dry off with, as the villa has no umbrellas...went to Lime Inn and joined a full house of St John visitors out to eat in the torrential downpour. When we came back to the villa, there were some guests waiting for us....a huge Hermit crab on our dining room floor(???!!!) and a very large frog, along with a lizard in our cooler. Well HELLO! I guess they were seeking dryer ground!

That's funny. We've been chasing a small tree frog around the villa all evening also. BeAsUR, we were at Lime Inn also. Were you a part of the large group in the center? Just as we paid our bill, the sky unloaded. After waiting a few moments, we decided we would not melt and enjoyed the walk back to our vehicle.
