Carnival!

Post by Larry »

Whats the skinny? I'm gonna be on St John for the festivities and I'd love to know what I shouldn't miss and well... what I should miss. I'm really excited to be down there for it, the trip is only a few days away now.

Anyone experienced with this?

There will be plenty of activities including a parade on the 5th and fireworks that night. Nightly music with food and drinks starting on the 30th.

I was wondering the same thing. Boat races sound interesting and fun, but I would think snorkeling that day may be compromised? Not sure.

Great parade which brings out lots of local flavor. It starts at about 11.00 am so do't be late. Oh, you'll be an hour late....you didn't miss start.

I must say some of the best fireworks at 9 pm.

Carnival Village with some good bands and some great food and cheap drink. Everyone has a good time.
