Food Porn Help Needed!!!
Ok, folks, let me start by saying that I hope any & all fathers in our forum family enjoyed their day yesterday.
Dad's are special.
Ok, let's get down to business!
I tried to look up/find the official Food Porn Posts, but after scrolling through more than a few pages still found myself lost.
Here's what I'm looking for, foodies;
Any recipe that closely resembles that of the Conch Fritters & the tangy sauce served at Shipwreck.
My Sweet Amy doesn't eat much fried food, but we both found this here dish totally outta' sight.
I'd love to surprise her tastebuds with a little of that island magic, if only I had a recipe!
Help!
Thanks, and always
Smiles-
MJ

We make Conch fritters for our Caribbean Cocktail party.
We have tried numerous recipes and the best that we found was one that Chip made up.
We use Kenyon's Clam Cake Mix. It is from RI and if you can not find it locally, they sell on line.
We then add corn meal, diced red and green peppers and onion to it.
I found working with Conch is a little gross for me, not sure why, so I let Chip do the chopping. We have to special order it (frozen) from our fish market.
If you can not find Kenyons, this recipe is one that we found that was pretty good.
