Eaglesnest Villa
Happy Friday all your forumers,
Has anyone had any experience with the Eaglenest Villa that they could share with us? We are considering staying there next spring. Thanks.

We stayed at Eaglesnest the week after Rick G. We loved the location and the house was a little worn but comfy. The two main bedrooms are on either side of the living room with interior access, we liked this because we have little kids. There is a lovely deck on main level. To get to the pool you had to go outside and down a flight of stone stairs. There is also a bedroom and bath down there but not as nice. I would say great for teens or a younger couple. Pool was large and had a great view. If you are looking for fancy this is not the house but if you want nice, clean and comfortable it is.
PS: We stayed there in 2007, so things could be different.

we stayed there last year. It was nice and comfy. Loved the pullthrough drive.. It was niece the grocery was right there, but think it has closed. Thought the pool was a little inconvient. Very nice breezes on deck, so mcuh so at night could be too much...but great. Besure you use the drybox...breads,chips, cereals really stay fresh, not soggy. Great view of Westin Resort and that little secluded island(Can't remember the name)..Have fun.

Eaglesnest
We were just at Eaglesnest in May. This was our first stay there but we just completed plans to stay there again next May. In 2009 we were fortunate to preview this villa while we were staying in Coral Bay. Having spent the past 4 yrs. vacationing in different villas in different locations on island, we have decided we LOVE the Great Cruz Bay location. This villa is high enough on the hill that you get a lovely breeze to keep you cool on those hot days and to keep the bugs away. We dined every night on the deck. True...the interior is dated, but the bedrooms were well appointed and the entire villa was very clean. The owners have all of the cupboards/drawers and their contents lableled - very organized. We found the outdoor access to the pool deck not to be a problem. There is a small frig in the downstairs bedroom (just off the pool) and it was easy to keep adult beverages there and negate a trip up the stairs. The pool deck has plenty of furniture and even a spot to put an umbrella IN the pool for shade. We really like being close to Cruz Bay for entertainment/dining options. We cooked in for about half of our two week stay but it is really nice to be close to the grocery store or restaurants. This villa had everything - we usually drag along lots of extras but found this place had it all. Sure will save me some luggage space next year. I highly recommend this villa and as you know....the price is right!
Enjoy your stay - you won't be sorry.
