last minute villa opinions
I have to make the final decision on our villa tomorrow (was supposed to be today, but I procrastinate!). I can't decide, so I thought I would ask your advice. All are around the same amount of $$:
Villa #1: Pluses: Intriguing because of a unique pool and varied views. Easy drive to town. Minus: Decor not really my style.
Villa #2: We've actually stayed here before. Pluses: awesome views, comfy house. Minuses: older, pool needs to be hand cleaned daily. Kitchen is small and hot.
Villa #3: Pluses: Older, but with many recent updates and a brand new kitchen. Incredible views, great pool. Minus: construction very nearby.
Villa #4: Pluses: nice house, great pool, good amenities. Minus: it's in an almost identical location to another villa we rented a while back, and doesn't have the STT view I really wanted this time.
Which villa would you choose?

I guess I should have said all four villas are easy drives to town. Last trip we stayed 1/2 down the John Head Road, and I got so sick of that bumpy road! I came home with bruises all over my right arm and thigh from slamming into the jeep. Great views in Catherineberg, but we are just not dealing with that road this time.
OK, despite trying to stay up for the Celtics, I am going to bed now. I'll tally the forum's advice tomorrow.

I would choose villa 1 for the reason that you can just go outside if you need to get away from the tackiness or whatever.
As long as the furniture is comfortable looking.
I know what you mean though. A beautiful interior is really nice to have. But for me not a must-have.

I will say #1. We've stayed at a villa with construction next door and it was VERY annoying. While it didn't ruin our vacation completely, it sure put a damper on our time at the villa. Although, I guess it depends what stage of construction they're in. If they are further along and just doing interior finishing work, it won't be so bad. At the time we had construction next door, it was the early stages (jackhammers, bulldozers, etc.) and it was bad.
