Day Trip with Liminos

Post by tashtego »

To anyone that has taken the Limnos trip to the Baths. I have a couple of questions...
Where do they pick you up in Cruz bay? is it at the Park Ferry Dock?
And can you park at the ferry dock?
Any other tips would be great
Thanks!

My mom and her friend took the charter last week. The pick up is at the Interisland Services Dock, which is the dock behind the chain link fence - where the old car ferry came in - which is sort of next to the NPS dock (that was probably the worst description in the history the forum!)

I don't think you can park in the immediate area.

They really enjoyed the trip and thought is was well worth the cost (my mom is cheap, cheap, cheap - she wanted to take the public ferry to VG) They felt the charter staff was very professional. She said there was ample breakfast and lunch items provided (a cold cut-make your own sandwich type of thing) and a full open bar (and beer)

She mentioned the boat has a fresh water shower for rinsing off.

They were quite impressed with the snorkelling. She said they saw a great number of fish and corals.

Limnos trip to Baths

Post by Flotsam »

We've done the Limnos trip (way back when), and since done probably close to a dozen on the New Horizons and Stormy Petral/Pirates Penny boats. Limnos is fine, and certainly beats not going at all, but it is a larger boat with many more people, and we've found we prefer the smaller groups and faster boats. They are more expensive, but you get to do and see more, and all of our guests have thought them to be well worth the extra.
Age brings wisdom. Or, age arrives alone, you never know.
