Question about different ferries from STT to STJ
After arriving at the airport in St.Thomas, is it better/cheaper to take the ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Cruz Bay, or take a taxi to Red Hook and then ferry to Cruz Bay? And yes I'm a newbie! Thanks!
I was surprised to find that even in high season the CA ferry is running on a very limited basis. Most folks are taking the Red Hook.
If you take CA you pay less for the cab and more for the ferry ride, Red Hook the opposite - more for the cab, less for the ferry.
Cab to Redhook from the Airport is $15/pp. 1 adult + 1 bag on the ferry to STJ from Redhook is $8.50 ($6 for the ferry, $2.50 for the bag).
Not sure about the prices to CA.
