New use for those pictures

Post by tashtego »

Capital One allowed me to use my own image on my credit card, so I chose a picture of Trunk Bay I took a couple of years ago. Here is a copy of the proof. (generic name and card number)
How cool is that!

Diana,

they are free and you can order a new one with a picture at any time. I just can't decide what picture to put on mine!

oooh, that could be dangerous. I'd want to take the card out all the time to look at the picture

Oh yeah, I take it out all the time now anyway.

I think it would be neat to put something really disturbing on your card and watch people's reaction when you hand it to them.....Heheheheheheheee!
Still waiting to return to St. John!

Love your Trunk Bay card, but....you've put all of your information on line. There are lots of people who see this website. I'm just saying, I think I'd delete it. We don't like to think there are dishonest people out there but someone could order lots of things with your info! :(

That would be quite the conversation starter at the checkout counter. Beautiful.

How funny. My Capital One card looks exactly like your Capital One card. I used my Trunk Bay shot too!

Very cool. I think I might put this photo on the credit card---it would remind of STJ and prompt lots of interest:

Thanks, tashtego for the way cool idea. I just ordered my card with a great picture (courtesy of forum member 2muchsnow) of the view from the palm tree at Salomon Beach. I guess I'm easily amused too and excited to get my new card!! YAY!!

Also, they will let you change it every 30 days. I'm already looking for the next picture. Maybe Hawksnest, no, maybe that morning at Francis.

Cheers
