Can anyone tell me the story behind the "Be Kind, In Memory of Daphne"?

The bumper stickers I have seen say "Be Kind, In Memory of Louise and Buddy." I know the story behind that one, but I don't know about Daphne.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
