Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific

Post by mindehankins »

I didn't know you could buy this stuff anymore! I found a site this morning where you can still buy that, Tangee lipstick, Psssst, Sweet Earth Solid Fragrance, etc.
Kinda fun looking around!

I get their catalog. It's amazing what they keep in stock!

I had that Tangee lipstick in junior high. Depsite its supposed color changing qualities, it always turned my lips bright orange!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

OMG I remember that shampoo! It was a must when we showered after high school swim practice on Fridays and then got ready for the dance after a b-ball game. You never know who you might be dancing with... Future hubby maybe? Yep, he married me.

I haven't thought about some of those products in YEARS. Psssst was a hoot, basically just spray on baby powder. I loved Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific. And, Lemon-Up. Thanks for the link and taking me down memory lane.

I used to use Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific in High School. Then I went to a foo foo place to get a Farrah Fawcett haircut (lmao) and they yelled at me for using it saying it was the worst thing for my hair. And of course they sold some of "their" products.

I used those procucts. WOW I feel REALLY old now.

TAB!

my best friend's mother seemed to consume nothing but Tab. I remember her stockpiling cases of it, taller than me, in the kitchen.

At quick glance, I found 50 things on that site that I didn't know I needed.

had no idea you couldn't get some of these things. you can't get Charms any more? didn't know!

anyone remember those charms type candies that came in a blue tin, they were covered in a powdery substance. no idea what that was but some sort of sugar coating I assume. they were round balls I think - I forget if they were sour or not. perhaps I really have no idea what I'm talking about ...... moving on now

So do you think that the shampoo you can buy is actually 30 years old? And what about the candy?

I remember a few years ago, they brought TAB out again. A friend and I rushed to the store to get it.

It tasted better when I was six.

But I do remember that Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific really did smell terrific.

I liked to watch the commercials during Knot's Landing and Falcon Crest.

Jovan Musk for Men was all the rage with the boys in my high school and Loves Baby Soft for the girls.
