Good Pilates DVD?

Post by AquaGirl »

Greetings forumites from snowy Virginia. I thought I would try posting a question regarding an exercise video. I haven't seen much of this type of topic here, but I am guessing there are lots of avid exercisers in forumland.

I am looking for a DVD so I can do Pilates at home. I took a beginner's class some years ago, so I am essentially just starting. I am in reasonable exercise shape (elliptical or bike or weightlifting 3 times week), but really need to work on strengthening my core.

When I search on-line, there are zillions of choices of Pilates videos, of course. Does anyone have any recommendations? For the one you like, can you say why you like it?
Thanks!

Rosi (designbyroe) here on the forum is a Pilates instructor and has some DVDs out. PM her and I'm sure she'd be happy to head you in the right direction. :D

Thanks Margo,
Yes, I do have one that was shot at Gallows, by Jeff and Russ (the bongo boys) no less.
Ruth sells them at St. John Spice.
I think I have one of two left.
PM with q's

I got the weighted hula hoop. It is fun and you can do it while watching tv.

I remember thinking the St. John pilates sounded fun.
