This snow isnt' funny anymore

Post by Connie »

It's really bad everybody. I took a nap today and woke up and it's the worse I have seen.

There's no way that I can make it to work tomorrow.

Have to think about moving to warmer weather.

My best friend lives in Philly (Havertown area) and she's been sending me pics all day. Nasty. I don't ever think snow is fun, unless I'm skiing. Hope everyone keeps their utilities.

If it makes you feel better, it's 10 degrees with the windchill here in ATL. We are simply not equipped to deal with these temperatures!

Connie - I guess Disney World probably looks a little better to you right now!! My husband just got done snowblowing for the 2nd time it is very deep. We also had part of a pine tree come down next to our house. It is very pretty and the kids are off from school again tomorrow. Have fun digging out.

alw, I'm in Havertown too. No work for me tomorrow, boss has called it off. There's no way we'll dig out until Friday maybe.

Hawaii...I'm thinking more of the Islands. Florida doesn't seem warm enough for me.

Thank god we still have electric. South NJ has been out for almost a week.

Watched Slum Dog and Hard Locker today so far.

The wine is gone. The neighbors drank the beer. We are into the rum. The snow is above our son's hips. Everything in central PA is shut down

As much of a royal pain in the ass, it does have some beauty:

Pretty JT...

Sorry for everybody who is not enjoying the snow...

We really could use some up here in Maine, we're usually buried! Maine is called "Vacationland"...for snowmobilers and skiiers in the winter time and for the coastline and lakes in the summer. Last summer was mostly a washout with two months of solid rain and this winter has been light on the snow...
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!
