Ha ha! I was waiting for that! You won't believe this - I abstained... don't know why - but it is here for 3 more days so I will have a chance
Probably this weekend -
Hello, my name is Bert, and I'm a chocoholic.......OMG, what are you trying to do to me??? What a wonderful place!!! AAhhhhhhhhhhh....Thanks (I think) for sharing that Anthony!
Canuck, I'm going to assume you're a woman so to that extent, I'll say sweetie I will never discuss shoes. There are outside of il Duomo many shoe stands. I could care less about the shoes, but just the idea of having one and being in Florence is what I like. Looks like at the amount Anthony wants to pay for shoes, it might be doable.
Now to Anthony. Ain't no shoes at that price that are 'cool'.

LOL - believe me - I am no shopper, or clothes horse - these things were more like art. And Allan - I am not buying them - that is for sure! The most I ever spent on a pair of shoes (still a lot) was about $250 - and that was because I am a very tough fit, with super wide feet, and really needed a nice pair of shoes for some event or other. My wife finally talked me into this pair of Allan Edmonds at Nordstrom's - about 10 years ago. I still have them, and they have been sent back and totally resoled once too... the rest of my stuff is in the $40 buck on sale range
