Villas near each other or an inexpensive villa for 10
I know someone asked this questions a couple weeks ago, but I can't find that post. I am looking for the website that had their villas listed near each other in case you had a larger party that needed to rent 2 or 3 villas. I have a party of 8-10 adults coming down in July. I am looking to stay under $1000 per couple. Do you know of anything that might fit this criteria? This is my sixth trip down to St. John, but I usually stay at Maho Campground.
carribeanvillas has feature that shows nearby villas and i believe catered to has map that shows all their villas so you can spot those that are close. also in addition to cv's 3 gifft hill villas, cloud 9 is between palm and seawatch and shares a drive with palm. views form gifft hill are amazing.

Friends of ours are staying in Ylang-ylang right now; I was there last week. (As you can see, there are three sister houses in a row; they can all be rented together). The houses are new, nicely-appointed, reasonably priced, and the area was surprisingly quiet. Great views to St. Thomas. You could probably make a deal to rent all three, esp during low season.

I have never stayed at La Jolla Caribe (offered through Destination STJ) but was once booked to stay there, which I cancelled after a viewing. Having said that, we all like different things so just because it wasn't for me, I know others have posted having stayed there and enjoyed it. Maybe it's perfect for you and your group. We (SOTB group of 10) recently looked at Vistaero in terms of big and economical. Also, don't be afraid to ask the management companies for a discount. That too expensive villa may become affordable. Good luck. Ali~
STJ - I "get it"
Check out Villa Caribe. We stayed there last July with another couple and 4 kids. It is newly renovated and very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. As I recall, we received a discount, which might make it more attractive to your group. If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me.

*Edit - I just noticed you said under $1000 per couple, so this may not fit your budget. The villa management company did give us a discount. If you're interested, it wouldn't hurt to inquire to find out if one is still available.

Casa Luna worked great for a group about your size. 3 nice bedrooms upstairs (2 share 1 bath if that's an issue) and two more bedrooms downstairs (each with their own bath). The house is awesome!
I was very worried that it would be dated and horrible because it was so reasonably priced and was thrilled! Lot of bang for the $$!
