11:15am flight

My flight returning home from St. John leaves at 11:15. I am guessing I won't be able to take the Westin Ferry - but we should be OK if we take the Cruz Bay Ferry correct?

Yes - you will need to be on the 8am ferry Cruz Bay to Red Hook if you are on an 11:15am flight.

wow didn't realize they didn't run it even if they knew their guests needed it earlier.

The Westin Ferry should take you.We had a 9am flight and they took us and another family over at 6am.

Good to know Kat - I'll inquire as my trip gets closer - I just read the normally scheduled ferry times and 10am was the earliest.

The Westin ferry took us and only us to Red Hook for an early flight. I think they definitely work around your schedule for early flights. It was the only time we were ever taken to Red Hook instead of CA, but a driver was waiting for us, and on to the airport we went.

Incidentally we just had an 11:25 am flight last month (not staying at The Westin) and we went on the 8 AM ferry to Red Hook and had plenty of time once we got to STT.

Either way you will be fine.

Check much closer to your August dates if you are planning to use a 7:15 STJ - Charlotte Amalie ferry -- they do not always run that trip off season and it is 'scheduled' to be eliminated altogether.
