Underwater Camera for Wedding present gifts

Post by LiamH »

Hello all,

Some of the fun posts I have seem are the ones with underwater pics.

Seems like a good idea... underwater cameras for all!

Does any one have a recomendation on cameras to give as presents for some first time snokler shutterbugs?

Keep in ming, most of them are not camera folks.

What is your budget? How much are you wanting to spend on each gift? And how many are you talking about?

I just bought the Canon D10 and don't know lots about underwater cameras but using the site below, I was able to make my choice. This is a long article but you need to cycle through the pages by clicking through the "next" button at the bottom of each page (easily missed if you look at the page quickly)

Thanks casco,
I have been going back and forth between the Canon D10 and the Olympus Stylus 8000 and that site was very helpful. :)
Happy Holidays!

We used got the Cannon D10aand used it on our trip to StJ in November. It worked just great. Very easy to use. The underwater shots were excellent. I also used it to video my nephews wedding and that also turned out excellent.
I believe there is magic here...
