As we grip the pain of the 1st snow storm of the year. Thank you for reminding me, I gotta get the snow blower up and running for Sunday.

Every year I say the four letter word (and it is not snow) at the stork that dropped me in the wrong freakin' place.

Damn, I had the top down the other day it was so warm.

On my way to Stop&Shop. I expect it will be a mad house.

We had snow in Houston yesterday. Totally wierd weather for this time of year. We get snow about every 5-10 years, and it's not the first of Dec. I'm usually wearing shorts in Dec. I probably will be again next week.

Yesterday the radio was saying six inches here, but it's now going to be less than one inch. I am sure the grocery store is going to be packed anyway. This fall/winter has been really mild so far.

We got just a couple of inches.

We went into Boston last night to see Manheim Steamroller at the Colonial. It's such a great concert and definitely gets you into the spirit if you're not already there. The theatre was decorated just beautifully.

As we were leaving the theater, it was snowing outside. It was so cool!

that's great Janet. I headed out to take some holiday pictures in the pouring rain hoping it would turn over. It did eventually but not until I was home already!
We're off to see the Boston Pops today. It's our family present this year on my side of the family. Everyone out to dinner and a show - no gifts. Of course some how the 16 year old niece gets the dinner/show AND gifts. Not sure how that happened :?

Fall is also over in PA. From this morning (Sunday) looking off the front porch of our cottage -

I measured slightly over 3 inches by 3pm Saturday and it continued to snow into the evening.

Southern NH got @ 3 inches. Probaby was closer to 4 but it was kinda wet and packed down a bit once dawn broke.

It was darn pretty when the sun came up and everything twinkled white & bright but then I started thinking about the ice storm we had last year and, I tell ya, I'm scarred from that. I kinda hate winter now.

For my area, I have heard the following for tomorrow:

1" rain
1" wet snow possible
2"-4" inches of snow THEN sleet and freezing rain

?????

I am working at payroll a day early just in case which means we will only get the rain because I worked ahead.

That was a terrible ice storm! We had to move John's parents to a hotel because the ice brought power lines down in their yard. I have a good friend that lives in Fitchburg and he had no power for a long time...almost three weeks, IIRC. We could not believe the treee damage when we went out to visit John's folks the following spring...it really looked like a tornado came through.

No snow here in Boston at the moment, just heavy rain and lots of wind.
