Well the infection in one of my brothers' legs has gone from bad to worse. He's scheduled to have it amputated this friday.

Try to put in in prospective.....he'll be alive & healthy again. That's a good thing!! My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Jim, I am so sorry. I hope the surgery will help him heal. Best wishes to him.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how bravely he fought to kept his leg... but this might be for the best as it will hopefully allow his body to be rid of the infection. They are doing such wonderful work with prothetics these days. Although this is a result no one wished for maybe he can now turn the corner on a fuller recovery.
