Interesting... I was just reviewing my advertising budget for a marketing consulting job that I do, and have decided to move a fairly sizable chunk of the budget to internet banner ads on key websites that should drive business directly to our website.

I'm so fascinated by these changes in how we do business, communicate, and generally just live.

Thanks Ruth - there is actually some really useful stuff on there for small business websites - good tips and tricks. It has been murder getting people to notice that site though...

Isn't that funny, that the article said that Anthony's link is exactly what should have drawn our eye (plain text), but didn't?
I'm pretty sure I notice motion over plain text. Even the motion of the smilies on the left here distract me.

This is good stuff - thanks for posting. Very timely for me because I'm working on marketing plans for 2010, including advertising.
