Carolyn - here's a few pics from last year's full moon party! We don't arrive this year until after the full moon darn it!! Miss Lucy's is one of our favorite places to eat! Sitting under the seagrape trees listening to jazz on Sunday morning for brunch is like heaven!! The full moon "party" is not really a party per se, but what an atmosphere with the moon over the bay!! The food is wonderful! Enjoy!

Thanks for the reply lazylane! We have enjoyed a few Sunday brunches there and like the place. So it sounds like it is a special menu, during dinner hours. Is it wildly popular and hard to get into? I seem to remember someone's trip report mentioning waiting to park and no tables available...just can't remember if that was high season or when?

I think someday I might have a Full Moon party at my house. It's just such a good excuse for a party! :D

Great idea Margo! You could get real creative with that!

make it a requirement that all have to do MJ's "moonwalk" dance. :) no "mooning" allowed.

Great pictures! I'm excited now; I think we're on island for the December full moon and we're staying on the Coral Bay side so it could be a possibility! At least Sunday Brunch-we ate at Miss Lucy's once for dinner and loved the vibe.

I'm excited cause were going to be on the island for the full moon in December. were thinking of hiking out to rams head; I think i read somewhere a while back ago that it's good luck to hike out there while there is a full moon and through a rock for a wish.

has anyone heard of this?

my husband thinks i'm silly.
