80 Days to Go

Post by FlaGeorge »

OK – We’re officially at the 80 day mark. Starting a check list:
1. Scuba/Snorkel Gear
2. Finalize food to bring down.
3. Pack – Simple, toothbrush, swimsuit, Teva’s, Sunscreen and a couple of T-shirts.
4. Reserve the limo to/from airport.
5. Load up the Ipod – speaking of which, does anyone know if La Papaya & Coral Rays have Ipod connections. If not, Plan-B, get some travel speakers.
6. Contact 6-Paq and reserve scuba space on the boat.
7. This is the big one – LOOSE 15 POUNDS.

I’m sure the list will grow and hopefully the belly will shrink.

I'm not sure of the exact number of days, something a little less than George's 80, and have that same "big one" on my list. So, I'm thinking that maybe we should just head down to STJ a little early and hit the gym there or some aerobics on the beach, or ... (my husband says that I'll work every angle to get myself there more.)
STJ - I "get it"

According to the calendar, it looks like I'm 8 days behind kplumm, so I must be down to 90. (I didn't want to start counting until I got to double digits. Hooray!)

I'm at 95 days and 10 pounds. :( It's the curse of my sister's holiday cookies!

I'm Seafoam Green with envy...I wish my countdown was that low! And yes, I also keep thinking that I need to lose 10 or 15 lbs for my trip to STJ which isn't until next year! By that time, I'll have lost it and gained half of it back! Don't want to look like a Sea Lion in my new STJ Bikini!

Hey FlaG~

Just my two cents...I bought a portable speaker system from Target...retail $199...InMotion is the brand...one piece...backpack for carrying & the sound is incredible!!! Operates with four C batteries...I've tested mine for almost 14 hours on one set of batteries. Also comes with wall plug-in...charges ipod when playing. I really love it!

21 & Sandy Feet!

I'll echo Flip Flop's mantra

Grrr, I won't be jealous, I won't be jealous.

Just over a year to go (381 days), of course that also translates into 381 days to the 50th birthday - but I'd prefer to dwell on the STJ aspect.

Can't wait for the trip report.
