What's for lunch?

Post by RickG »

Sweet Christine reminded this morning that we'd be on island in three short weeks with three newbies. The obsession's starting to kick in... what's for lunch?

Woody's? Too hot.

Lime Inn? Not open yet.

Banana Deck? Nah, we'll be there sometime, probably after the forum get together.

Beach Bar? No! We'll go there four times as usual and look for Red in the kitchen.

Jake's? Up the hill past the round about? Nah.

Sun Dog? Later this week.

La Plancha? Too far to walk. Save it for dinner... twice.

Happy Fish? Too much sushi at home.

Joe's Diner? Fried food another day.

Coral Bay? Skinny Legs tomorrow, no Shipwreck Landing this trip unless they open early.

Surly Cantina? Yes, enchilada, taco, Heineken, quick and then back to the beach.

I don't want to wait three weeks. Off to the local version - http://www.yelp.com/biz/el-charrito-caminante-arlington - tacos and pupusas.

Soon come.

Cheers, RickG

Deli Grotto didn't make your list. After diving in the AM and before heading to a North Shore beach in the PM, now that's the ticket!

Just hit the G-Spot. Good quick food. Really cold beer and pour your owns. Darts, pool and often live music. Sometimes you just need an informal dinner and some fun.

I am really missing something what is the G-Spot? You mean Larry's Landing which moved Ben or is there some other place to pour your own in Cruz Bay?

Hey designbyroe,

The G-Spot is the snack bar place at Larry's Landing. It's actually a separate business there. As their motto says," The G Spot, A great place to eat...if you can find it"

I have to throw in my support for the G-Spot. Their food is very very good and they have lots of specials so it's interesting for us locals that eat the same stuff all the time. The price is right too....Garbo really tries to keep the prices low. He started doing some salads recently which is great. Some of their menu/specials are pork sandwich, gyro, hot dog, Stroganoff sandwich, Asian noodles, fresh made hummus, philly cheese steak, the list goes on and on. You have to give this place a shot! And yes, they are in Larry's Landing between the first and second bar.
