van rental

Post by vmras »

is there any rental agency on St Thomas that has a van that will fit 8 people? We are going in Dec. and there are 6 adults and 2 children and all I have found so far are vans that hold 7 people.
Thanks for any info

I can't specifically answer your question, but I have a suggestion. Look into renting two vehicles, and consider 4wd if your destination is STJ. With a group that size, it's quite possible that folks will be going in different directions or at different times. For instance, everyone has decided on one beach for the day, but one car is going via the deli to pick up rations, and the other car is heading straight to the beach. After a day at the beach, perhaps some folks want to catch a drink at a bar, and the rest want to go straight home to shower. You may find that the cost is not any different, and it'll provide flexibility.

Try Dependable on STT. I've used them and have been pleased.

We were down in July and used Zip Rentals for the second time. We needed a van for 8 people too, I know what your going through. We didn't want to have to park two cars or if we made a wrong turn or changed our minds the one van would make it so much simplier. Also just for sightseeing it was more fun. Call Lisa at Zip, her number is 340-715-1501. She meets you at the airport with your car and 5 minutes later you are on your way.
