Prayers for my mother, please
Prayers for my mother, please
Because of the friendship and comraderie of this forum, I would ask a personal favor of anyone willing to help.
My mother, Linda Clifton, the most generous, kind, selfless person I have ever known, is critically ill, in intensive care and struggling to recover.
She overcame the initial problem of gastric bleeding, only to then face failing kidneys, blood poisoning, DIC (a bad blood clotting issue), and a dangerous build up of ammonia in her body from liver damage.
She has overcome or made great progress with all of these serious problems only now to be facing bronchitis or pneumonia which is keeping her on a ventilator.
She is only 60, the mother of four children of her own, two of her sister's children, three foster children and two of her grandchildren, but she has been a mother to any other child crossing her path that needed one.
She now has two new grandbabies who need her in their lives.
She is the center of our large, close family and life without her doesn't seem possible.
I want her to see my little one year old girl grow up. She's so much like her.
My faith tells me that what ever happens is the way it is meant to be, but that does not stop me from desperately wanting to have her with us as long as possible.
Any prayers on her behalf would mean so much to me and my family.
I know it can make a difference.
Thank you to everyone.
