Meet Hendrix!

Post by chicagoans »

This is our new puppy. I wasn't busy enough as a working mom  so I gave in after years of my kids (and hubby) wanting a dog. He's our first so I have lots to learn. But he has a very sweet temperament and is very lovable. (Yes I'm biased!)

Hard to keep him still so these are a bit blurry... but here he is.

CG he is a chocolate Labradoodle, which sounds silly to me so I just call him a mixed breed. He will get big - between 45-60 pounds, and I think on the high end of that range (he was biggest in the litter.) He is zonked out at my feet right now. :)

He looks like pure mischief to me. We have a neighbor with a Labradoodle. Very smart, lovable and without an ounce of fat and he's 90lbs! What fun you'll have.

Too cute! Since we've been out of the "grey" fostering, I have loved these dogs. Saw one at a rest stop heading to the Blue Ridge and talked with owner at length. He said his was wonderful with his small children. They are beautiful dogs. Enjoy your new baby (not for long!).

A friend of mine got a Labradoodle, but I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I hear they're awesome dogs, though! I can't wait for the pictures to come! :D

These make for fun pets.

Once Obama got the Portuguese Water Dog, the breeders buttoned down tight.

Some saw this breed as the next best but honestly, this breed might make the better pet anyway.

Very athletic and intelligent.

Congrats and take many pics while Hendrix is young!

He is sooooo cute. I thought he looked a little like my Toby (black poodle). Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll have the poodle trait of not shedding. Best of luck with puppyhood. :D
