Great Cruz Bay Villa

Post by ORDtosaintjohn »

We are headed back to our favorite island and wanted suggestions on villas that can accomodate young families. Not us but our kids are 5,3, and an infant. We normally stay in the villas at the Westin but thought we might venture outside. Need at least 2 bedrooms if not more and a pool. We would be there for 13 days over Christmas and NYE. Thanks

We loved Gull Cottage, which is right near the Westin. If you're looking towards the water at the Westin it is just to the left right at water level. We were there 2 years ago and loved it. It has 3 bedrooms, one with an outside entrance. Since you have little ones you might not use that bedroom. One of the other bedrooms has an attached office with a sleeper. The kids could use that and the other bedroom in across the livingroom. The house has a small pool but sufficient for plunging after the beach. There is a great sea wall to sit on and watch the boats go in and out of the harbor and fabulous sunset views. We rented through Caribbean Villas so check it out.

my husband and I stayed at Morgan Point in great cruz bay last year. We loved it. I think the set up of the rooms, etc would be great for a family with young kids. there are 3 bedrooms all on the same floor and the pool is off to the right side of the house so you dont have to worry about the kids opening the living rooms sliders directly onto a pool deck. the rental company was also a pleasure to deal with.
