Gotta love it when your airline changes your flights
Well I just got an email from Continental changing our connecting flight from Puerto Rico. We are going to be staying on Virgin Gorda for a few days before heading back to St. John.
Initially our connecting time was an hour and 20 minutes now we have a 3 hour lay over? What to do? Is that enough time to leave the airport or are we stuck waiting for our Cape Air flight for 3 hours??
As a side note I did call Continental and apparently our flight that we had no longer exists so that's why they changed our time. Gotta love it!

At least they emailed you the change. Delta has changed our flight in November three times and never notified us. I check on a regular basis because when they change our flight, our seats are all over the place too. So far, they've been able to seat us next to each other when I call but I know that can change.
Have a great vacation!

Susan, the exact same thing happened to us on Continental. It was because Cape Air canceled, not because Continental changed the schedule. So in my case, I changed our return flight to the following day, as they had the same Cape Air flight 1 day later. Then... Cape Air canceled THAT flight and went back to the original day! So we got changed back again... no charge to us because it was Cape Air's doing! When are you going? If not for a while, check on that Cape Air flight again and again, they will probably change it back. Ugh!

I checked my DELTA itinerary after reading your post. Sure enough, they changed our flights. Not much difference in our times but flight #s and seats have changed. I had to re-select each of our seats to be together and out of the back of the plane. I checked to see if I gave them the correct contact info (in the section that promises to notify of changes) and there it was, phone and email info. Guess they didn't feel like calling or e-mailing me.cjroyer wrote:At least they emailed you the change. Delta has changed our flight in November three times and never notified us.
