I lived in Sea Bright for a few years in the 90's and we had some storms come through that threw up waves that really rocked. It was fun to stand on the sea wall and watch. But then again a regular thunder storm out over the ocean was cool too.

Went in the water early Saturday morning. Surfed a Delaware break for 3 hrs. All three sections were connecting for 200 yrd rides. DOH. Epic.

Here's a photo from a beach further south. This gives you an idea of the size and power.

I wonder how crazed they were in Manasquan. They surf right next to the inlet more or less year round, so waves like this must have been a treat for them.
