Has anyone made cake pops?

Post by Xislandgirl »

I am making them for the first time for our Party on a Stick next weekend.

The concept seems pretty basic, but I am not sure and was hoping that someone would have some experience to share with me.

That is where I got the idea, I know mine will never look like Bakarella's but I am willing to give it a shot

The invite says no presents. I like my friends a lot but some of them have bad taste (that is why they like me) and I would prefer no gifts!

No, I've not made them, but I do want to for a party later in the summer. Could you please post pics after you've prepared them? I know mine won't look like Bakearellas either. I swear, just the thought of them make my teeth hurt! LOL! But the kids will love them and they do look easy enough even for a bad cook like me.

I just looked at the picture. I recently went to an Event Planners tradeshow and they made something very similar, only it was Chocolate Ganache. To die for! I have a picture at work, I'll post it on Monday. :)

X, I have a friend in Greenville, MS that has made them for parties, dance recitals, etc. They are delicious! Not mention, so cute! She said they take some time to make. I hope they turned out well for you. They have been a big hit here.
