Private Charter for 30+ people?

Post by Taghan »

Does anyone have any recommendations for a company to use for a private charter for 30+ people? We're exploring the idea of doing a sunset sail/cruise for our wedding guests the night before our wedding. So far I've only come across 2 that have that type of capacity: Calypso and probably Cruz Bay Watersports (Island Time or Island Spirit).

First, does anyone have experience with either Calypso or the larger boats from Cruz Bay Watersports?

Are there any other charters that we should consider?

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

We have taken day trips to the BVI on Island Spirit twice and loved it!

Try Bad Kitty. I think they are from Katy Lady.

I highly recommend the Motor Yacht Cinnamon Bay. This is a unique and historic yacht and Captain Dan Ristuccia and his wife Donna will take very good care of you and your guests on the evening of your wedding.

Here is a link to an article about the Motor Yacht Cinnamon Bay in "St. John Magazine" which talks about famous movie stars aboard.

If your interested in staying in US waters the Sadie Sea can take up to 37 passengers. She has been on island for over 20 years and I hear the new owners are really cool.

I'm %100 with Ruth on this one.
Dan & Donna are wonderful, and we're looking forward to seeing them again this fall.
Lovely knowledgable folks on a great vessel.
Look for My Sweet Amy & I in their photo album on their website!
Good luck, and always,
Smiles-
