Pictures from vacation - part two (Jersey)

Post by Maggy »

Continued from part one.

Jersey is on one of the UK Channel islands, but are situated near the French coast. With huge differences between high and low tide (up to 36 ft) it can look really weird sometimes, with boats laying on the side on the bottom. And beaches that are only beaches in low tide etc.

Well here are some pictures.

Meerkats in Durells wildlife Trust. All animals there are in the risk of extinction, except for the meerkats.

It was the best meal on the whole stay (5 nights). It was about $25 and worth every penny.

I agree...the low tide, high tide pics are so amazing. I've never seen anything like that. How cold was it?

Nice pictures, Karin, thanks for posting. I was thinking the same as others about the tide. Really unusual.

Simply the best!
Loved seeing it all - the best of life...the people, the animals, the gorgeous landscapes, the very appealing food.
Thanks for sharing your vacation.
