Hi everyone!!
Hi everyone!!
Well, I am finally back and I've missed all of you!!
Thanks to the Ladies who have stuck with me via e-mail. (((HUGS)))
So, here I am...my life has been turned upside down. My husband has been ill, he has always battled skin cancer and abnormal cells. He is just one big freckle. And it runs in his family. But, last year, Oct 31st to be precise, we found out he has a blood disorder that is almost leukemia, he also has non-hodgkins lymphoma, and prostate cancer that had gone to one lymph node. Well, the prostate and 8 lymph nodes are gone. He is on a cancer medicine for the blood disorder and the NHL is a wait and see what it is going to do before anything is done with it. He has two oncologists, both named Smith, how funny is that!
Plus, I lost my job of 28 years. That has worked out as I was able to stay home and take care of him, and, in 30 yrs of being together, the 6 weeks of his recuperation is the most time we've ever spent together at one time. It worked and now we know we are going to survive retirement.
Anyways, things are getting back to normal, my husband is back to work and feels great. So life goes on and here I am.
I've really missed everyone and hope I can be part of the board again. I hope everyone is well and I look forward to catching up with all of you.
Take care!

Flip-Flop...thank you so much. My hubs is doing great, I can look into his eyes and can tell he is well, although technically he isn't, but he is. If that makes any since. How are your precious little babies doing?
Nice to meet you Vilover and glad to meet another Kentuckian. And thank you for the compliment. It has been rough, but I always have hope that there will be a better day. I did have to step back for a bit, take care of business, and regroup. But, here I am! Yippee!!

Flip-flop...I did read your all trip reports. Those babies (I know they aren't really babies anylonger!) but anyhoo, those babies of yours are ADORABLE!! I love seeing them playing in the sand.
Thank you lprof, silverheels, and linne. I'm so happy to be back I want to cry...but won't!!
I've missed you all and can't wait to catch up with everyone. (((HUGS)))
