Trip report # 2
If I did this right you should beable to click on the pic's to get to full sizes ones.

Well I’m up before the sun can’t seem to shake that. Get up make coffee even though I don’t drink it love the smell though. Sit on the deck and watch the Island come to life Waiting for Starfish to open.

Head out for the market before every one is up to pick up muffins and fruit for a lite bite today is Miss Lucy’s for brunch try the pistachio muffins are my favorite. Head down to C&C car rental to fill out the paper work. We get there the owner is wondering why I called and gave him a hard time for the car not being here. When we explained they really weren’t he couldn’t believe it described the 2 guy’s that brought the cars back they weren’t anybody that he knew.

Headed out north shore to show all the STJ virgins what they had been missing. Made the mandatory stops at all the over looks and they are seeing why we love it here. Get to Miss Lucy’s and get rock star parking. The food and drinks and view are out of this world like I remember.

Head over to Josephine’s to pick up salad greens for the special supper I have planned of Monday night if you have never been there you have to see her gardens and the salad greens are some of the best I’ve had any where. The girls take a tour of the gardens can’t believe their eyes.

Head back to the villa on centerline stop at the smoothie truck after 5 smoothies and 3 beers and 58.00 later continue on run in to a herd of cows.

Image
Back at Cygnus my son Paul and I go snorkeling in Chocolate hole to get him used to it. It’s a little rougher then usually is but still see a lot of life.

Get ready and head to the beach bar. With a stop on the ferry dock to wave at the camera and call our friends and family back home to rub it in worked great.
At the beach bar thank god for STJ Ruth if she hadn’t found me with her cheese head on I wouldn’t found any of the forumite’s Met Ruth and Ron. Tracy and Juice and a couple of lurkers Dara and Andy They were all great had a fun time. Another late night but worth every minute of it.

Keep the reports coming! Love reading about the island, can't wait to get back and you make it all so real to us. The pictures are great, too!

Thanks Tom - you're beating me! I'm going to get the kids out skiing today (not quite like sitting at Hawksnest last weekend......) so I'll continue shortly!

I think everyone should click on that picture of the cow to enlarge it. The look it is giving Tom and his ganag is hilarious!!!!

Also, Tom - how did you like your new underwater camera?

I'm really enjoying your report. The picture of your son is super cute.

Thanks for posting about Josephines. John and I wondered if we could get greens from her at the garden center, but never drove out there to find out. Now that I know she sells them there, we'll be making the trek. The salad greens at Starfish always look so tired.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Hi Wonton
If you turn by the gas station in coral bay and head up that road it further then you would think the road gets a little rough not that bad you will come to a yellow pole building on the left the coolers are in there with the fresh vegies honk your horn if no one is around and some one will come over to check you out.

Excellent. Thanks for the directions. You can read about my dinners featuring Josephine's salads (probably in excruciating detail, sigh) around mid June.
