Weather Forcast
Weather Forcast
I was listening to Isle 95 and they gave the weather forcast. He said there is a tropical wave that might reach the islands in the middle of next week. I don't know how that will affect our trips, but bring something to do in the villa.

This should help:
A tropical wave normally follows an area of sinking, intensely dry air, blowing northeast. After passing the trough line, the wind veers southeast, the humidity abruptly rises, and the atmosphere destabilizes. This yields widespread showers and thunderstorms, sometimes severe. As the wave moves westward, the showers gradually diminish.

thank you Pia for preventing a heart attack. i just checked a few sites and saw some real vague stuff about Western Caribbean and a possible wave in a few days...
let's just hope for the best. 'cause I am already nervous about the road to our villa...i don't think it is paved.

Let's Dance!
I suggest everyone who will be on-island next week start doing the anti-rain dance! I do not want to spend a week in the villa reading a book and drinking......I prefer to do both on the beach!

The forcast came up again and I made notes.
He said there is a tropical wave out at 31W and it figures to affect the weather in the middle of next week.
31W is about 420 miles west of Cape Verde and about 2000 miles east of STJ.
The weather.com site talks about 60% chance of rain next Wednesday.
Tuesday and Thursday are given lesser chances of rain.
Sorry if this caused undue alarm or chest pains. Just bring the poncho and a good book. That might be a villa gravity day. It would be even better if it passes overnight.
