Post by Pia »

Thought you all might like to see some photos from the Wagapalooza benefit (I think they are this years :) )

For all who might like to help, my next forum "collection" will be for the abandoned St John animals and to donate needed supplies to the ACC - please let me know if it is someting you might like me to start

Thanks everyone and enjoy the pic's

Yes, Pia most definately I would help with ACC.
Bully and I rescued Stella who was at ACC when I lived on island and I walked the dogs daily.
I know they do such good work and Anne Marie Porter and all she has done is a blessing and all the volunteers and board members at the ACC.
Anything you need please ask.

Forgot to ask, did Jeff at Jolly Dog do the shirt this year again?

I've given money in the past but I'd be happy to bring down some supplies when we're there next month if that's what they want.

That would be great Teresa_Rae - here is a link to their "wish list"

http://www.stjohnanimalcarecenter.com/help.php

I'm not sure the best way for everyone to help as you can directly donate via paypal to them or should I collect donations and then buy toys (they always need play things for the animals) food, treats etc - I need to give it more thought and after all our friends leave I will go and talk to them directly but if anyone has a preference please let me know, and of course I would post all of the pictures of purchases :)

Pia - I see they have a digital camera on their wish list. I would be happy to donate my Canon SD400 now that I have a new camera. It's in fine shape and takes very good pictures! I also have an extra battery for it.

Pia, I would like to donate items, too. I love those pictures and it looks like a really fun time.

Who does the dalmation belong to? I bought some jewelry from a really nice lady, but I can't remember the name of the place. It was in Cruz Bay near JJ's. There was a really sweet dalmation there, but I can't remember his name either. (Old age sucks!) Anyhoo, I was just wondering if that's the same dog.

First I have to apologize if these are old photos - I briefly looked and saw the dogs in costumes that I had recognized from Saturday, I guess some wear the same costumes every year or they are a combo of photos.

That would be great CC - if you want to mail it to me directly you can and I will deliver it for you or I'm sure you could mail it directly to them.
