I'm pulling for you, Mary Beth, and am praying all is well with your mom.

One time my husband had to walk with a cane when we visited the islands of Spain - he broke his kneecap a few weeks before the trip. We were so determined to go and he hobbled his way to the islands. We ended up having a wonderful time.
