Any villas or Condos one price year around? No Holidays !

Post by Berlingirl »

Ok...Please pick your self up off the ground and quit laughing hysterically  Just wondering if there were any villas/condos that weren't too super expensive in the high Jan/Feb/Mar season? Does anybody charge a year around rate? Not interested in Holiday periods...

Thanks in advance...any replies are appreciated.

Tuesday Morning Bump...

If this is a stupid question, please chime in and say so...recent job changes have us looking at alternatives in dates and locations. One is doing nothing...the year we did that was not fun! :( This is a stretch already, but dreams die hard. :(

I have never seen a villa listed for the same price year-round. This year though with the economy I saw lots of villa listings for off-season pricing in the high season. Those were mostly last minute though, but with things the way they are you might have luck for next high season. You could contact rental companies and ask.

Agreed. In this economy it doesn't hurt to ask.

Samuels Cottages charges the same rate all year round, which is why we picked them for our next trip. It's not going to be fancy, pretty much four walls, a kitchen and a bathroom BUT it does have air conditioning! Everyone I know who's stayed there says it's like a state park cabin, and I like state park cabins. It's better than camping which was our only other reasonably priced option.

I'd call Patrice pretty quickly though, because she had already booked two of three cottages for our week next February when I called at the beginning of the year!

They look really nice for that price. We always say that we are going to stay on that side of the island next time and we always end up back at Gallows for sentimental reasons. The only solution is to try to get in another trip so we can do both. Is that too much to ask of the universe??

Thanks all...Agent99...I agree, we stayed at Gallows a couple of years ago and loved it...we've been coming back to STJ for sentimental reasons ever since the first time we hit the rock! Hard to think of anywhere else...
