Here are the pictures I mentioned in my reply to you in my trip report. I may include them in my TR later on as well.
Trunk Bay from the water - notice the cars at the right at the overlook! And notice how the cay looks like it's in the middle instead of over to the side. It's an optical illusion, however, relating to where we were in the water at the time.
Here's a zoomed shot of the overlook. It was interesting to see it from this angle. I always felt like I was so high up! It looks much lower than it feels when you're standing there!

We stop at the lookout every time we visit St. John - the view never gets old for us. Now I know what we (or our jeep) would look like from the water. I'm sure I'll think of the photo while I'm at the lookout in a little over a week, and you're right, it always felt like we were higher than that. Thanks, CG.
