Two pics taken at Maho today. The trench on the left is about 18" deep at the top. It was quite a rain..

I thought you were going to tell us the beach had washed away. That is quite a trench. Glad the rain stopped and the cisterns are full.

I wish it would have been possible for me to get pictures of all the run-off on Centerline Rd. yesterday. "Waterfalls" pouring onto and across the road. It was actually kind of pretty if you didn't have to be driving in it.

From some of the recent pics it looks like the island could use some rain...just probably not all at once though.
Nice tagline CG...I chuckled.

Thanks Cid! I don't know who to give credit to for originating it, but it came out during a Kenny Chesney sing-along on the boat last week!

Funny...that's exactly what I thought. "That must of came from listening to Kenny out on the boat" and I was right.

Wow those pictures of the erosion at maho are unreal, we were just there last week and the sand was smooth as can be. Did the water wash over the road during all the rain?

Yep! The Calabash Boom area water was brown from the run-off.
We had seen lots of water trucks making deliveries last week. I hope everyone's cisterns are topped off.
