"Happiness Is ..." Day 2 Trunk, Forum, Woodys 2x,

Post by pswlrw »

Got up and we all enjoyed breakfast on the deck with this amazing view!

Image

Part of the group headed out to Trunk while the rest slept in. Got to the beach at 11:00 which is something of our record for our group!! Had to stop for the obligatory Trunk overlook shot.

Image

Got 2 parking spots in the lot and found Trunk to be nicely uncrowded and just beautiful. The snorkelers in the group report a somewhat disappointing snorkel (algae bloom?), but everyone has a great day in the water.

Head back up to the villa for a clean up and down the hill to the Beach Bar to meet the forumites. Huge shout out to XIslandgirl for corralling us all and Bev for the great jello shots!! It was so cool to put faces to the name and share some time with all of you. :D

We headed to Woody's for a before dinner drink then to Rhumblines for dinner where we had a fabulous time! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect! T-Bird was playing and she was awesome!

Image

She played "Into the Mystic" which was Greg and Marci's wedding song (they got married last year). They went out to dance and then we all joined them on the dance floor and it was just a great moment! Love, love, love. :D

Had some fun with the swing at Rhumblines - I just love this shot of me and my "little girl". She goes away to college in the fall, so our time together this trip was especially poignant to me.

One car headed back to the villa, while the rest of went back to Woody's, bringing with us a honeymoon couple that sat next to us at Rhumblines.! This is where the "XIsland Fog" comes in, because I don't remember their names, but they were a lot of fun! Stayed a Woody's for quite a while, then head home, hot tub, bed, crash.
