South Shore Villa?

Post by mrae1972 »

Can anyone tell me anything about South Shore Villa? The photos on the website look fantastic, but it would be nice to have a first-hand account. I think it is fairly new to the rental market?
Out trip is planned for November '07 -- adults, no children. I can hardly wait!

Thank you for any insight, Melissa

Melissa,

We have never stayed there but, it is in the area of the island we prefer to stay. The fact that you have views of Ram's Head makes this villa a real treat. Looks lovely! Let us know if you decide to stay there.

Melissa,
We have rented South Shore Villa for the first two weeks in September. The main reasons being....it looks absolutely gorgeous, seems to have amazing views and is fully air conditioned....a real plus for a September stay.
I haven't found much feedback on it either. It is written up on the Jeff and Russ web site; it is a paid advertisement.....but the guys vouch for properties advertised on their site.

I have read a few reviews...just with a slight caveat...they were written by the owner  I think his name is Larry. If you do a search for South Shore Villa on Trip Advisor you will find his answer to a question I posted regarding this villa. He was very honest and stated up front that he was the owner.
I was happy to read that Marcia likes the area...it was the one thing I was not sure about.
We have stayed at Francis Bay Estate and Coral Bay.... so this will be a new area to try out.
I will be glad to answer any questions you might have after we have stayed there in September. I also plan to do a drive by when we are there next month...mia

Melissa,
i have a great idea  I will call Seaview Homes to ask if we can see South Shore Villa in February. Hopefully there will be a window of time when it will be vacant...so that we can have a look. I will take pictures for you and post them when we get home. Also will be able to give you the inside scoop on the villa....after having seen it first hand. Sounds like a plan to me....how about you?

Marcia,
Can you elaborate on the area and why it is a favorite?
It seems to be high up, which to me means great breezes. Thanks....mia
