Trip Report: Part 2 of too many

Post by Xislandgirl »

Wednesday 4.22

We woke up a little (or a lot) foggy. I was plain old hung over. As I was getting ready to make us breakfast I realized that the fridge was a little fuller than it was yesterday and remembered that we stopped at Starfish on the way home the night before. I guess I am a shopper when I have too much rum? :P I have no idea much how much we spent but it turned out to be a great thing actually. We bought a wrap for the beach and some veggies that we cut up to bring as beach snacks. and lettuce????

J&L said that they would like to have dinner at home tonight and we agreed that would be a great idea. and we had lettuce for salad!

We were slow moving but managed to get ourselves and stuff together and head to Maho. I love Maho and we settled in for some beach time. The water was a little chilly for me but Chip made me soak for a little while. I finished my book and got bored and antsy so after a few hours we left the beach.

Since I did not take notes and Chip doesn't remember, here is the multiple choice part of the report.

Next we:

1. Stopped at Pine Peace, went back to the house
2. Stopped in town for hair of the dog, stopped at Pine Peace, went back to the house
3. Stopped in town for hair of the dog, Pine Peace, House, back to town for Tuna Bites, stopped at Starfish, back to house
4. Pine Peace, house, town for Tuna Bites, Starfish, house

I really have no clear recollection, I may have blended a few days together.

After whatever you choose, we had a wonderful pasta with meatsauce made by J &L and a big salad at the house with J&L and then I think we sat on the deck or watched some TV and went to bed early.

And I bet you thought this report was going to be all craziness and mayhem after Part 1, huh?

X,

You are cracking me up. You make me feel better about the fact that my upcoming trip report will contain several "foggy" entries.

Sounds familiar - in Feb our 3 couples "hit it hard" the first night at the villa (Sunday) and by Wednesday every light was out by 9:30pm.

I am always amazed at detailed trip reports. I simply can't do it! I slip into island time very easily and apparently the rum has much to do with it! You have brought a sense of humor in your recall tho...Much appreciated!

I will have more pics as the week goes on. I didn't take more than 12 the first 2 days I think.
