KC in SA Review
Just a short review...
Lady Antebellum was better than expected. I, actually liked them. They played for about 20 minutes.
Miranda Lambert was 30 minutes of HELL!! She cranked up the decibel level to where you could not understand a word she "sang". She has a certain harmonic in her voice that made the fillings in my teeth vibrate, quite painful. I spent most of her time on stage with my fingers in my ears, praying for her to stop shaking her head and butt and stop screaming. Needless to say, she is not on my short list of favorite country stars.
OK...now we're mostly deaf and annoyed...KC better be good!! He did not let us down. KC entered the stage via a swing and singing "She Thinks my Tractors Sexy". The sound guys turned the decibels down and we could understand what KC was singing. He continued with several up tempo songs like "Live Those Songs Again", "Beer in Mexico", "Summertime" and "Keg In The Closet". He slowed down in the middle of the set with several ballads and his new song, "Out Last Night", off his upcoming greatest hits album .
Toward the end he sang "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven", "When The Sun Goes Down", "Don’t Happen Twice", and "Jack and Diane". KC ended with "Don't Blink". He stayed on stage for probably 20 minutes signing autographs.
In my opinion KC should dump poor Miranda and let Lady Antebellum have more stage time. He puts on a great show!! I didn't know that he's got "guns". I knew he worked out, but I didn't expect to see big guns on such a short dude. The lady's loved it, though.
If you get a chance to see him...go!! Just bring earplugs for Miranda. My ears are still ringing and I'm going to go to the dentist to check my fillings.

Thanks for the review, Ron. I am fortunate enough to be on the 2nd row for tomorrow nights concert, so I am more than excited, but I think I'll take your advice and take some ear plugs. I'm not a Miranda fan anyway, and to have her blasting my ears out.........ouch. Better yet, a good time for a bathroom and beer break.

Ron, if I had written a review of our experience at his first show at Mohegan Sun, it would've sounded exactly like yours.
I also enjoyed LA, and thought Miranda was just PAINFUL.
I really have to get tix to that Foxboro show...But man, the price tag!

VaGirl and I saw Kenny last night in Houston. LA was great, Miranda was not as painful as I expected........but Kenny was amazing as usual. I was fortunate to be sitting about 6 ft. from him, right in front of his center stage microphone. He signed my Foxy's cap and VaGirl got her Soggy Dollar cap signed. Now I'm spoiled. I don't want to ever go back to row 50. It's nice to have friends with connections.

BooHoo!! I had on my "Woody's" shirt and I was 18 rows up from the floor seats...couldn't get thru security. I am really happy for you!!!!!! They must have "fixed" Miranda by the time she got to Houston. The ATT Center has roof...that could have been the problem. Did you see BeAsUr's post in the "rain" thread on the travel forum side? Incredible rain in Dallas.

I wouldn't say she was "fixed", but at least I didn't have to pull out my earplugs (and I did bring them).Ron in South Texas wrote:BooHoo!! I heard there were some upset people at that Dallas concert........due to the terrible weather, the concert was cut short and some people want their $$ back. That's just what I heard, I don't know that much about it.
Can't wait to see him Thursday in Bham!! Thanks for the review!
