Bug situation around Maho Bay Camps in June

Post by 2muchsnow »

I have a friend who is traveling to Maho Bay in June, her only concern is about the sand fleas, and other than telling her to stay off the beach at dusk/sunset is there any thing else that fellow STJ forumites think is important to someone staying there for the first time?

I've never stayed there, but always thought it would be an inexpensive way to get my STJ fix.

The beach at dusk is not a good idea unless you're asking for trouble.

But if you can't avoid it Bens Bug spray with either 30% or 100% DEET will keep those suckers away.
*Another fine scatterbrained production
