Thanks everyone - we had a really good trip and fun day out with Captain John Brandi.
The Eco Spa day was through the Friends of the VINP and was held at Salt Pond Bay. Although it was a bit disorganized, it was fun. They had buckets full of mud from the Salt Pond that we smeared all over our bodies, lots of different leaves, like Noni to rub on your body. As I recall, the Noni leaves could be left on your body to help with any aches or pains. They also had avocado face scrub, fresh cut aloe vera, and several other natural potions to use in our hair, face and body. At the end, they had the National Park Service pick-up truck at the base to the walk into Salt Pond Bay and they had fresh water to rinse off with.
It was fun and I would do it again. They had a great turn out and even one man was there! Lots of local ladies who were interesting to talk with.
Becky - Juice is on his way to Boston as I type (I wish I was going!). He's excited and well prepared. He just missed 3 hours last year and his goal is to go under 3 this year. I hope he can do it - his bib is number 2521.

GO JUICE!
Too bad you can't make the 1/8th mile detour (and back) off the course to see my daffodils in Ashland. I hear they are really spectacular this year.
Maryanne will be watching for you, I'm sure.
Maryanne, will you be in the usual spot on the hill on the left, right after the Dairy Queen?
