Yet my brain can not always recall some off the best things you enjoy, so...best snorkel, best BVI trip, best kayak rental, best dinghy rental, where to go for dinners(any place serve great vegatarian ,good fish and real meat) Also what is special about Vies I hear almost everyone mention the place and the snacks. The rest of info I have recieved from you all, car rental CONRAD SUTTONS,great place to stay in Coral Bay,going to see Ruth and Ron,and last but not least I have my BEN'S 100 DEET( thanks Gromit) My husband tends to get eatin alive. We will try to post a trip report. Hope ours will be as good as some of yours. Oh where do we print out our boarding stuff 24 hours before the dreaded walk to the ferry. Hope to see some of you guys down there! Karen and Steve

Congratulations on your upcoming trip - you are going to love it. We just returned from our first trip to St. John and will be posting our trip report starting this week-end (it will be long). Hope some of it will help you in your planning and selections. Suggestion, pack less clothes and bring more suntan lotion.

You can find vegetarian friendly options just about anywhere, but I am betting Sweet Plantains would have some of the more flavorful, interesting options. Out in Coral Bay just past Cocoloba Plaza. A review from another blog I read: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09106/963038-34.stm.
Enjoy, can't wait to hear about your trip.

Sogos was recommended to us by a vegetarian. They have authentic West Indian cuisine. Great food-they serve fish and meat too. We go every year and the family that runs it is very nice.
It is a little hole in the wall-not a fancy joint at all. Prices probably $10-20 for dinner, I am guessing. Cant remember.

"Sponges grow in the ocean...I wonder how much deeper it would be if that didn't happen."
Vie's has great garlic chicken, rice and beans and conch fritters. And a great beach. She (and now her daughter) are very nice to talk with. Sloop Jones is down there, too, to make a day of it.
Try also to get to Sweet Plantains.
You don't need a boarding pass at this airport to return. They've told us it's too small to matter. Just bring confirmation numbers.
